2 Water projects to be implemented in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Governorate announced referring Taji and Tarmiya Water projects for implementation.Baghdad Governorate quoted its Governor, Ali al-Tamimi, as saying in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The two water projects will be implemented by foreign companies after obtaining the required consents from the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers.””The project, which provides (8,000 M3) of water each hour, will contribute in eliminating water scarcity problem in Taji, Tarmiya and other neighbor areas,” noting that ”The gross cost of the project is estimated with IQD (185) billion and it is scheduled to be accomplished within (36) months,” the statement concluded. \END\
