Woman committee sets policy to upgrade women’s situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member, Huda Sajad, of the family and woman committee announced developing two strategies to upgrade the reality of the Iraqi woman with the participation of many ministries and civil society organizations.

She reported in statement to IraqiNews.com on Monday ”The new strategies included promoting the potentials of the woman and the second is the anti-violence against women and since the case of is Iraqi woman is so expanded, considering that Iraq passed through many conditions negatively effected community and the woman particularly, therefore we find many uneducated women.”

She pointed out ”The Government set these strategies with the participation of many ministries and civil society organizations as well as UN international experts to establish the groundwork and rules to solve the problems of the Iraqi women.” \
