19 Pakistani pilgrims attacked in Anbar

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) 19 Pakistani pilgrims were injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device IED explosion that targeted their bus in Anbar province on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Sunday “The IED, which was emplaced at the roadside of the high way, exploded, targeting a bus carrying Pakistani pilgrims in Sajer district of eastern Ramadi city, the capital of Anbar province.”

The source added “The explosion made the bus flips upside down and resulted in injuring 19 Pakistanis pilgrims.”

Earlier, security source reported to IraqiNews.com on last Wednesday that “Unidentified gunmen attacked by machine guns a bus carrying pilgrims coming from Syria in (7 k) area of western Ramadi.

The armed attack resulted in killing and injuring (12) pilgrims including Lebanese and Iranians pilgrims. \
