111 Iraqis assassinated so far in 2010 – MRFC

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The toll of assassinated Iraqis has reached 111 since the beginning of 2010, the Monitor for Constitutional Freedom and Bill of Rights (MRFC) said on Monday. “Around 78 civilians and 33 security elements have been assassinated,” the MRFC said on its website. It attributed the assassination to the upcoming parliamentary election in Iraq on March 7, 2010. “The assassinations targeted political and security officials,” the MRFC said.
