13 people killed, 12 wounded in Iraq in 24 hours

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Thirteen people were killed and 12 others were wounded in the violent acts that took place throughout Iraq during the last 24 hours, according to security sources that spoke to IraqiNews.com news agency. Unknown gunmen on Sunday shot a civilian in Raas al-Gaada area, western Mosul, before they fled to an unknown destination. In Diala, four Iraqi soldiers were killed in an IED blast that targeted their patrol northeast of Baaquba city on Sunday.
