18 islamist gunmen arrested in Mosul – MNF

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi security forces arrested on Sunday 18 operatives of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq in security operation in Mosul city, said a release posted on the Web site of Multi National Forces in Iraq (MNF). “Accurate intelligence tipping off led to the operation,” the release said. According to the statement, the suspects are linked to the Pakistani intelligence. “They blackmail people to fund terror acts that target civilian Iraqis and security forces,” it said.
