18 wanted men, suspects nabbed in Basra raids

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Sixteen wanted men and two suspects have been arrested during security raids in different parts of Basra, according to a local security source. “The men have been arrested on criminal charges,” the source explained. “On Sunday evening, police forces seized a car that was used to fire two rockets at a U.S. checkpoint in al-Shalamija area along the Iranian border,” the source noted.
