2 civilians killed, wounded in Falluja blast

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Two civilians on Saturday were killed or wounded when an explosive device went off near a downtown Falluja park, according to a local police source. “An improvised explosive device exploded near a park in al-Jumhouriya neighborhood, downtown Falluja, killing a civilian and injuring another,” the source told Aswat l-Iraq news agency. The blast caused damage to a number of nearby stores, the source noted, providing no further details.
