2 former Baathists arrested in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi security forces arrested on Wednesday two Baathists in the city of Karbala, local police chief said. “Acting on intelligence information, security forces arrested two Baathists who entered the city with Shiite visitors to launch attacks during Imam Hussein’s Arbaeen visit,” General Ali Jassem al-Ghariri told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Investigation are underway with the two detainees to know about the bodies which stand behind them,” he added/ Karbala is 110 km southwest of Baghdad.
