2 IEDs defused, suspects nabbed in Falluja
ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Two improvised explosive devices (IED) on Saturday were defused and nine suspects were arrested in Falluja City, according to a local police source. “Today, Falluja police forces defused two roadside explosive charges planted by unknown gunmen in al-Sinaiya area (southern Falluja),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Meanwhile, another police force captured nine suspects in Falluja following information about their role in planning the devices. “Those detained are believed to have been involved in acts of terrorism against the Iraqi security apparatus,” the source pointed out. Falluja, the largest city in Anbar, lies 45 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
