2 killed, 5 wounded in 2nd Baghdad blast
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Two civilians on Saturday were killed and five others were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in Baghdad, the second blast to hit the Iraqi capital today. “Today, a roadside explosive device planted by unknown men in al-Ghadeer neighborhood, southeastern Baghdad, detonated, killing two civilians and injuring five others,” a police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Earlier today, two persons were killed and seven others were wounded when a roadside IED went off in Abu Ghraib area (20 km west of Baghdad city). Security forces sealed off the area of the blast and rushed the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment, the source added. SS (P) 1
