2 killed in Baghdad blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A man and a woman were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in southern Baghdad, police said on Sunday. “An IED planted by unidentified persons on the main street in central al-Madaen district, (37 km) southwestern Baghdad last night, leaving a man and a woman near the blast scene dead,” a security source told IraqiNews.com.
