2 missiles land on U.S. base in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Two Katyusha rockets landed on a U.S. army base in western al-Kut city on Friday, a local police source said. “The U.S. army’s Delta base, (7 km) western Kut, came under an attack with two Katyushas fired from the area of al-Shohadaa, in the eastern part of the city,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The U.S. army did not give more details about casualties or losses resulting from the attack. Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad. AmR (P) 2
