2 tribes in Diala conclude security agreement

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: A tribal conference was held in Diala on Tuesday between the two tribes of Bani-Tammem and al-Jbor, and concluded with an agreement between them to support security forces and handover all wanted people, said the province’s police commander. “The conference was held in Salsal area of al-Miqdadiya suburb, 45 km northeast of Baaquba,” General Abdilhussein al-Shemmary told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The meeting was attended by prominent figures from the two tribes,” he said. The conference attendees called on security forces not to raid any house unless they are accompanied by the neighborhood’s mayor.
