2 weapons caches found in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Joint army-police forces on Wednesday seized two weapons caches in western and southern Karbala, the province’s police director said on Wednesday. “The first cache was found at al-Jamaliya area, 6 km west of Karbala city,” General Ali Jassim Mohammed told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The second depot was found near the concrete factory, 15 km south of Karbala city,” he said. Mohammed pointed out that the operations were launched in light of intelligence information. “The caches include 140 tank bombs (120 mm size), 11 cannonballs (120 mm size), and tens of bullets in addition to a number of pistols,” he noted.
