20 persons detained in Basra

Basra-Wanted BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Thursday arrested 20 suspects and wanted men in separate areas of Basra, the media office of the Basra police said. “Policemen launched security raids in separate areas of Basra, where 17 wanted men and three suspected gunmen were arrested,” the office told IraqiNews.com news agency. “”The forces defused an explosive charge of five kg of TNT which had been hidden behind Ibn Maged hospital in al-Kharbatliya region in central Basra,” he added.
