23 detainees released in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Twenty-three detainees who were not proved involved in charges pressed against them were released on Saturday, a senior police official in Diala province said. “The Diala police command today set free 23 people, who had been detained in Bocca prison in Basra province, for lack of sufficient evidence against them,” Brig. Abdelhussein al-Shimari told IraqiNews.com. “More groups of prisoners will arrive in the province and would be released in coordination with the Bocca prison authorities,” Shimar said, not saying when more detainees would be received in Diala.
