3 bombings hurt 14 civilians in Baqubah

(IraqiNews.com) Diyali – On Sunday, Diyali Health Department announced, that 14 persons have been wounded in a number of bomb blasts in different areas of the city of Baqubah.
Fares Ezzawy, the spokesman for Diyali Health Department, stated for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb that was emplaced inside a car on the road side has went off in the area of al-Juba (7 km northeast of Baqubah),” pointing out that, “The blast resulted in killing 3 persons in the area.”
He added, “An IED also exploded in the area of al-Amin (5 km northeast of Baqubah), resulting in 8 injuries among civilians, while another bomb on the road side near the Water and Sewerage Department, located 3 km north of Baqubah, also went off injuring 3 people in the area.”
“The injured have been transferred to near hospitals for medical treatment,” Ezzawy noted.
