3 ISIS militants killed, 6 casualties within Iraqi tribesmen in clashes near Baqubah

Diyali (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security source in Diyali province stated that 3 ISIS militants have been killed and 3 tribal fighters were killed as well as 3 others wounded in violent clashes in northeast Baqubah.

The source informed IraqiNews, “This evening, ISIS militants attacked several checkpoints in Bablan village and clashed with armed tribesmen. The voilent clashes resulted the death of 3 ISIS militants and 3 tribal fighters as well as 3 others wounded Iraqi fighters.” He also added, “Iraqi Army sent reinforcements which arrived in the area and a counter operation against ISIS militants is about to begin.”
