3 policemen wounded in attack in Touz Khormato

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: Three policemen were wounded in an attack by unidentified gunmen in central Touz Khormato district on Sunday, police said. “Unidentified gunmen in a civilian vehicle today attacked a police checkpoint in al-Askari neighborhood, Touz Khormato, (100 km) east of Tirkit city, leaving three policemen wounded,” a source from the district police told IraqiNews.com. “The gunmen escaped to an unknown place,” the source said, adding the wounded were taken to the district hospital to receive treatment.
