3 suspected gunmen detained in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Three suspected gunmen were arrested on Thursday in northern Karbala, a police source said. “Security forces arrested three people, suspected of having links to armed groups, in northern Karbala on Thursday (Sept. 3),” the source told Iraqi News. “Two of them suspected of being al-Qaeda elements,” he added, noting that the operation was waged in light of intelligence information.
