3 suspects nabbed in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen on Thursday detained three suspects, including an Iranian, northwest of Basra, the media office of the Basra police said. “Basra police arrested three suspcts, including an Iranian, at the airport checkpoint to the northwest of Basra,” the office told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The forces found an amount of drugs in his possession,” he added. The office did not reveal more details. Basra lies 590 km south of Baghdad.   SH (P)/SR 1
