3 wanted persons arrested in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The Wassit-based Quick Response Department forces arrested three wanted persons during a search raid in the southern part of the province on Tuesday, according to the QRD comamnder. “The interior ministry’s QRD personnel captured wanted men Qays Khanjar, Ammar Hameed and Ali Hassoun in accordance with Article 4 of the law on terrorism during a search raid conducted in the area of al-Shohadaa, al-Hai district, (40 km) south of al-Kut,” Maj. Aziz al-Amir told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The arrested persons are suspected of involvement in armed operations in the province, murders and kidnappings,” he added.
