3 wounded by sticky bomb in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Two soldiers and a civilian on Monday were injured when a sticky explosive device went off in Baghdad, according to the Iraqi police. “A sticky improvised explosive device (IED) detonated inside a civilian vehicle near a checkpoint at al-Hamza Square of Baghdad’s al-Sadr City, wounding two Iraqi servicemen and a civilian, and causing damage to the car,” a police source told Iraqi News. Security forces cordoned off the scene of the blast and rushed the wounded to al-Sadr Public Hospital, the source added. SS (P) 1
