30 wanted men detained in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Police and army forces on Friday arrested 30 wanted men during a security operation in eastern Falluja, a senior police officer said. “Police forces, in cooperation with the Iraqi army, waged a crack down operation on Friday (May 22) in al-Karma district in eastern Falluja, where they arrested 30 wanted men,” Colonel Hatef Mohamed told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The operation was launched in light of intelligence information and citizens’ cooperation,” he added, without giving further details. Falluja is 45 km west of Baghdad, while Ramadi, the capital of Anbar, lies 110 km west of the Iraqi capital. SH (P) 1
