4 oil smugglers arrested north of Kirkuk
KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Policemen arrested four oil smugglers, including a man wanted by security authorities, northwest of Kirkuk on Monday, a senior security official said. “The Kirkuk Districts’ Police Department forces launched a search raid in the district of Sarkaran, (60 km) northwest of Kirkuk, capturing four oil smugglers with a tank in their possession,” Brig. Sarhad Qader, the department chief, told IraqiNews.com. “During investigations, it turned out that among the four there was a man wanted on charges of stealing public funds,” he added.
