47 killed, wounded in two blasts in Baghdad
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Forty-seven persons on Sunday were killed or wounded in two blasts that occurred in the capital Baghdad, according to security sources. “At 08:30 p.m., a suicide bomber blew himself up in a popular café in Abu Dasheer area, southern Baghdad, killing 15 persons and wounding 25 others, according to an initial count,” a police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “One civilian was killed and six others were injured when a roadside improvised explosive device (IED) went off near al-Baghdadi Restaurant in Baghdad’s southern area of al-Doura,” according to another security source.
