5 persons arrested in eastern Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The official spokesperson for Baghdad’s Operations Command (BOC) on Saturday said that Iraqi army forces arrested five persons in eastern Baghdad. “The force arrested three wanted persons in Sadr city’s Kassra wa Attash area, Baghdad, with a sniper gun, a sound silencer and a video camera in their possession,” General Qassim Atta told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Another army force arrested a two-member car stealing gang in Sadr city’s Jameela area, Baghdad, and confiscated a stolen Volkswagen Passat and an amount of money during the operation,” he added.
