50 million dinars award for information about killers of pilgrims in Anbar
ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The Chairman of the pro-government al-Sahwa (Awakening) Force in west Iraq’s Anbar Province, Ahmed Abu-Risha, has offered a 50-million-dinar award for anybody, who gets information to uncover the terrorists, who killed about 25 pilgrims on their way from Syria for Iraq on the main road connecting Syria with Iraq, confirming that the “victims belong to different communities of the Iraqi people.” “I have announced today (Tuesday) a financial award of 50 million dinars for anybody, who gives information to uncover the persons involved in killing the passengers of the bus in al-Nukhib area (Anbar) Province,” Abu-Risha told IraqiNews.com news agency, adding that “all the victims had been citizens of Baghdad, Salahal-Din, Ramadi and Karbala Provinces.” Abu-Risha called on all “security forces, especially the Iraqi Army, to leave their barracks and head for Anbar’s desert areas to search for the gangs that committed the crime and uncover their hideouts.” An armed group had kidnapped a bus, carrying about 30 people, coming from Syria in Wadi al-Qadhir area, 70 km away from al-Nukhib township, forced the women and children out of the bus and killed more than 20 men.
