6 Arrested in Anbar Province

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Six people implicated with violent acts, including members of Qaeda Iraqi Islamic State, were arrested in different security operations in Anbar cities and neighboring provinces, Anbar police sources said here today.   The source informed IraqiNews.com that the raids resulted in capturing prominent Qaeda leaders in Ramadi, Fallouja, Taji (north east Baghdad), Abu Ghraib, and other adjacent areas.   “The arrested people were living in Anbar and other provinces. The planned attacks against military and police members, as well as the civilians, in other areas”, the source added.   Ramadi, center of Anbar province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. RM (TP)/SR 614
