6 wanted persons nabbed in Amara
MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi army personnel on Wednesday arrested six wanted persons, including two antiquities smugglers, in Amara city, according to a military media source. “Today, forces from the 10 th Division captured six wanted men in al-Hussein al-Qadeem neighborhood and Strip 28, downtown Amara city,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “Those arrested included two smugglers of antiquities that have been seized at Baghdad International Airport,” the source noted, providing no further details. Missan is a Shiite province. Its capital city is al-Amara. Sitting on the Tigris River, Amara lies 390 km south of Baghdad.
