7 gunmen arrested south of Baaquba

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Wednesday arrested seven gunmen of what is called the Islamic State of Iraq in south of Baaquba, the director of the national investigation department said. “Policemen launched a military operation early Wednesday (June 10) in Bahraz district in south of Baaquba, where they arrested seven Islamic State of Iraq gunmen, including Ahmad Hamied Ali, the group’s mufti,” Colonel Mohamed Ghani told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The arrested gunmen are wanted for implementing several killing and displacing operations,” he noted.
