7 wanted men arrested in Basra raid

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Tuesday arrested seven persons on criminal charges in different parts of Basra province, according to a local source. “Basra police forces conducted a search raid that covered different parts of the province,” the relations and media office in Basra police told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Five Kalashnikov rifles, one pistol, 32 mortar shells, eight cannon balls of 60 caliber, 20 unlicensed vehicles and 18 motorbikes were seized during the raid,” according to the office.
