A shepherd killed by a mine in Wassit

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com:  A shepherd was killed by a mine explosion, a security source said today. The source added that the explosion took place 40 km east of Kut city by a mine left since the Iraqi-Iranian war in 1980. Kut, center of Wassit province, lies 180 km south east of the capital, Baghdad.
