Abducted woman released, kidnappers nabbed in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi police forces released an abducted woman and arrested her kidnappers in an operation on Saturday at al-Maaqal area, north of Basra, said a source from the city’s police. “The kidnappers are a five-member gang, including a woman,” the source told Iraqi News. “During preliminary interrogations, the gang’s members admitted that they carried out a number of abductions,” he said.
