Abu Ghraib car bomb leaves 10 casualties

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Three civilians on Monday were killed and seven others were wounded in a suicide bombing near the capital Baghdad, according to a security source. “Today, a car bomb driven by a suicide bomber exploded in Abu Ghraib area (20 km west of Baghdad), killing three civilians and wounding seven others,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The blast comes shortly after a spate of bombings rocked Baghdad earlier today. Earlier this morning, a car bomb detonated in Sabaa Qosoor area of al-Karada, downtown Baghdad, killing a civilian and injuring five others. Meanwhile, two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) went off in al-Hubaibiya area of eastern Baghdad, killing three civilians and wounding 15 others. SS (P) 1
