Al-Hashd al-Shaabi liberates Sabuniyah Train Station

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Media office of al-Hashd al-Shaabi announced on Wednesday liberating the train station, on the road between western Mosul and Tal Afar.
According to the media office, “Forces from al-Hashd al-Shaabi militia managed, today, to liberate al- Sabuniyah Train Station, located on the road linking between the western side of the city of Mosul and Tal Afar District.”
“Heavy human and material losses were inflicted on the Islamic State group,” the media office added in a statement.
In 19 February 2017, Prime Minister and General Commander of Armed Forces, Haider al-Abadi, announced launching an offensive to retake the western side of the city of Mosul, while security forces managed to liberate several areas so far.
