Al-Hashd al-Shaabi: We seek to verify information about Baghdadi’s death

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, al-Hashd al-Shaabi militia announced, that it is seeking to verify the reports claiming about the killing of the ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, while suggested that ISIS is hiding the death of its leader due to the sizable amount of loss that has been inflicted upon it in the recent past.
In a statement, a copy of which was obtained by Iraqi News, al-Hashd al-Shaabi said, “Some Arab and foreign media indicated to the injury of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, while other media confirmed his death in the Syrian city of al-Raqqa. The intelligence of al-Hashd al-Shaabi is working to verify these information.”
“ISIS is working to hide its leader’s death due to the sizable amount of loss that has been inflicted upon it in the recent past,” the statement added.
