Al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia kills senior ISIS leader by ambush in Anbar

(IraqiNews.com) Diyali – On Sunday, an official of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi stated, that the security forces were able to kill a key ISIS leader, who is responsible for media in Nazim Taqsim area, asserting that the target, who is a Saudi national, was killed in an ambush in Anbar province.
Jabbar al-Mammouri, an official of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia, stated in an interview for IraqiNews.com, ” Today, a joint security force backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia fighters had managed to kill the ISIS leader who is responsible for the media in Nazim Taqsim,” noting that, “The target, who is a Saudi national, was killed along with one of his assistants, in an ambush that was set up for them in the surrounding area of Nazim Taqsim in the province of Anbar.”
“Security forces continue to cleanse the surrounding areas of Nazim Taqsim,” Mammouri added.
