Anbar Operations foils IS attack on army’s headquarters near Ramadi
Anbar (IraqiNews.com) Commander of Anbar Operations Major General Mahmoud al-Falahi announced on Saturday foiling an attack launched by the Islamic State on an army’s headquarters, west of Ramadi.
Falahi said in a press statement, “Forces from the army’s 1st brigade and coalition air force managed to foil an attack launched by the Islamic State on an army’s headquarters, west of Ramadi.”
“The security forces, baked by the international coalition aircraft repulsed the attack and killed 11 members of the Islamic State group, as well as destroying three vehicles belonging to the terrorist group,” Falahi added.
Noteworthy, security forces are foiling several attacks launched by the Islamic State on their headquarters, west of Anbar.
