AQI Karbala leader captured

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) in the holy Shiite province of Karbala was captured on Sunday, a senior security official said. “Security agencies in Karbala arrested the man in charge of the AQI in Karbala today (Sept. 26),” Sattar al-Ardawi, a member of the Karbala Provincial Council’s Security Committee, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Investigations with the arrested AQI leader led to important information about top names responsible for explosions in the province,” Ardawi added.
