Armed group attacks Lebanese pilgrims in Anbar
Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) Three Lebanese pilgrims were killed while seven others wounded due to an armed attack in Anbar province.
Security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “A terrorist group targeted a bus carrying Lebanese pilgrims in (7 k) area of western Ramadi,” noting that “The Lebanese pilgrims were coming back from Syria to Baghdad.”
The source added “The security forces cordoned the incident scene and transported the dead bodies and the wounded persons to the general hospital of Ramadi city.”
The source concluded that “The security launched an investigation to identify the sides behind the attack.” \
