Arms, ammo found in Makhmour

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces in Makhmour district on Saturday found a large amount of arms and ammunition, an Iraqi army source said. “A cache containing arms and explosives was found near Diozati village (30 km west of Makhmour district), the source told IraqiNews.com. “The cache contained 12 Katyusha rockets, 30 mortar shells and a map,” the source explained. Makhmour district lies 68 km southwest of Arbil city, which is 349 km northeast of the capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
