Army seized TNT, rockets in Makhmor

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com : Army forces seized a weapons and explosives cache which included 400 kg of TNT and 10 Katyusha missiles that were hidden in a village to the west of Makhmor suburb, a media military source said on Wednesday. “A force from the Iraqi army 5 th brigade 1 st contingent seized the cache near Sultan Aula village, 30 km west of Makhmor suburb (68 km southwest of Arbil city),” the source told IraqiNews.com. “The force detonated the cache without causing any damage, he said. “The cache was found based on intelligence tips,” he added.
