Asadi meets German Ambassador

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Interior Ministry Undersecretary Adnan al-Asadi met the German Ambassador to Iraq, Christian Boker, and discussed with him security cooperation between the two countries.

The Ministry of Interior reported in statement to IraqiNews.com that “During the meeting, Asadi discussed with the German Ambassador the security cases and the progress in the work of the Iraqi security forces in terms of experience, efficiency and professionalism in dealing with the different security events.”

According to the statement “The German Ambassador expressed his admiration for the capabilities of Iraqi security forces and their ability to establish security and stability in Iraq,” stressing “The readiness of his country to cooperate with the Interior Ministry in various areas which might lead to the development of the security bodies and increasing their efficiency most notably in the field of combating explosives.”

The statement pointed out that “Asadi appreciated the German ambassador’s efforts and attitudes,” emphasizing “The importance of promoting the bilateral relations between Iraq and Germany for the good of the two countres.”
