IED blast kills fighter of al-Hashd al-Ashaeri near Baqubah

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Members of Diyala Provincial Council Karim al-Jabouri announced on Monday, that an improvised explosive device’s blast killed a fighter of al-Hashd al-Ashaeri, east of Baqubah.
Jabouri said in a press interview, “A fighter of al-Hashd al-Ashaeri was killed in the explosion of an improvised explosive device, today, in Sharwain area, east of Baqubah.”
“Security authorities opened an investigation into the incident to determine its circumstances,” Jabouri added.
The area of Sharwain is witnessing frequent attacks against fighters of al-Hashd al-Ashaeri, especially using bombs and improvised explosive devices.
