BO Commander describes participation of Abu Ghraib’s tribes in Anbar Conference as "Vital"
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of Baghdad Operations Command, Abdul-Ameer al-Shimmari, described the participation of the tribes of Abu Ghraib in the Conference over Anbar called for by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, as “Vital.”
In the General Conference of Abu Ghraib’s Tribes, Shimmari said “In spite of the brutal attack by the terrorists that we are facing, we want to assure that it is gone and holding such conference is not by chance but by the honorable stances of the tribes in cooperating with the security forces to combat terrorism.”
“The tribes of Abu Ghraib district will never let a terrorist to be in their district and will eliminate terrorism in this district,” he added, noting that “The tribes’ participation in Anbar Conference is vital and importance due to their role and achievements while facing the militants.”
