KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A bomb blast in east Karbala‘s Bab-Tweirij area on Monday morning has caused several casualties, eyewitnesses said. “An explosion took place close to Mahmoud al-Sarkhi’s Mosque in Karbala‘s Bab-Tweirij area on Monday morning, causing several casualties, who were driven to nearby hospitals, whilst the security forces cordoned off the area around the venue of the blast and blocked all the roads leading to it,” the eyewitnesses told IraqiNews.com.
