Urgent – Car bomb explodes near café in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A civilian was killed and six others were wounded when a car bomb exploded in northwestern Baghdad on Monday evening.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com that ”The car bomb, which was parked near a popular café in Ur neighborhood of northwestern Baghdad, exploded killing a civilian and wounding six others,” noting that “The explosion caused material damage to the café and the shops as well as vehicles nearby the explosion scene.”

According to security sources this explosion is the last one of a series of explosions caused by Improvised Explosive Devices and car bombs that took place in Baghdad and other provinces and resulted in killing and injuring many civilians and security elements. \
