Urgent: Sadr City explosion kills 19 | Iraq, Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The death toll of the explosion that took place in Sadr City on Friday afternoon reached 19 deaths and injuries.

The Official Spokesperson of Baghdad Operations Command, Dhiea al-Wakel, stated that ”The death toll of the explosion, which took place in Sadr city targeting the people who were performing the Prayer of Friday, resulted in killing two persons and injuring others who were transported to the nearby hospitals for treatment.”

Earlier, Two explosions took place in Sadr city, the first explosion targeted the people who are performing the prayer of Friday, and the second explosion took place near the office of Martyr Mohamed Sadiq al-Sadr of eastern Baghdad.
